INTEGRATION OF THE BASIC DYNAMICS OF MOSQUE MANAGEMENT: EXPERIENCES OF SOME OUTSTANDING MOSQUES

As an Islamic institution, the mosque plays a general role consistent with wide concept of worship in Islam. The mosque’s function should not be limited to only place worship, such as for performing prayers, but also regarded centre community development, educational activities, administration, uniting ummah, and activities related national interest, economy social etc. Empowering institution requires transformation management that leads efficient effective is line Syariat contemporary needs. This study focused on forming management’s organisational structure by identifying expert background selected members well their experience management. Respondents comprised representatives from most outstanding mosques each state West Malaysia. Findings show all had Committee Members (AJK) various fields expertise. Combining these who possess expertise has led dynamic always maintained its relevance society. It hoped findings this can guide other committees country agencies when transforming into acts platform integration
